Negligence of Bihar is not acceptable - an open letter to 24000 Corporates

[Saadda Haq, Aithe Rakh - scroll down for the song]

Right now, I am in my most vulnerable state, I am angry, my blood is boiling at way above the normal temperature, I can feel the heat generated due to 10X the normal neuron spark in my head, and I want to hit a rock with my fist, and shout out loud and motivated to say - You All Go and Fuck Yourself.

Our State (I will take this personally) is India’s 2nd largest state in terms of population - ~130 million. This means we are 1/3X of the USA, 2X of the UK and 23X of Singapore’s Population. And even with the dense population, everyone has neglected our state - corporations, industries, and Central Government.

For everything that has been awarded to other states, Bihar always comes last, and on the priority list, Bihar does not find its space. But this post is not on the negligence of Bihar by the Central Government (I will write about that in the future), but the exclusion by the section of the largest economic creators and contributors - Corporates.

The so-called CSR that is used for the development of less developed societies (technically), every single corporation ignored Bihar and keeps ignoring.

The total CSR expenditure in FY 23 was INR 29,986.92 Cr by 24,000 Corporations and I want you to guess the % investment of the total CSR in Bihar. You can take time and think - it is fucking 0.78% by only 288 Companies (most of them are public companies), yes not even 1%. If you take a look at the distribution of CSR funds for each state Bihar, with the 2nd highest population, is 2nd from the bottom.

Let me tell you the hypocrisy of India’s corporations.

Sectors-wise contribution of CSR funds:

  • 13,209 Cr (44%) on Education, Differently abled, Livelihood

  • 8,739 Cr (29%) on Health and Sanitation

  • 2005 Cr (7%) on Rural Development

Now, just to keep the above sectors, you all answer this question:

Q. In India there is any other state other than Bihar that needs the development of an education system and livelihood with a population of 2X of the UK?

Q. In India if there is any other state that has broken healthcare with a population of 23X of Singapore?

Q. In India if there is any other state that has the largest share of Rural with a population of 30+ nations combined?

If the purpose of CSR is to make a contribution from the profits in increasing the pie everyone in India has a +ve sum game (not a sum game). In that case, the Ignorance of Bihar by the corporates is not only an indication that - my state has been ignored by everyone including the central, there is no one out there who gives a fuck about whether we live or die.

Forget about everything, Jharkhand with 1/3rd of Bihar’s population received more CSR funding than Bihar. (Fuck you India’s Corporates).

Every single industry, including financial and Banking, has been playing the hypocrisy game with our state. At this point, I have no desire to be called myself an Indian, I want to be called Only Bihariand Bihar is my Nation. Because if the nation and its corporate will not consider us the part, we will find a way.

With 130 million population, available resources, ecological suitability, and everything else we can become a separate nation. Our state has been ignored, ridiculed, dignified, and abused for almost 30 years. It is time to pay back, our state will not tolerate your hypocrisy. It is time, you give us our Haq. Negligence of our state (Bihar) is not acceptable.

I am fucking so angry that if given a stage, I will sing Ranbir’s Rockstar song:

“O Eco-Friendly, Indian Ke Rakshak, Ham Bhi Hai Indian

Hypocrisy Se, Favourism Se Kyon

Tu Baante Hami, Kyun ignore kare Iss Tarah

Kyun Sach Ka Sabak Sikhaaye, Jab Sach Sunn Bhi Na Paaye

Sach Koi Bole To Tu Niyam Kanoon Bataaye

Tera Darr, Tera Pyaar, Teri Waah, Tu Hi Rakh Rakh Saale

Saadda Haq, Aithe Rakh

Saadda Haq, Aithe Rakh

Saadda Haq, Aithe Rakh”

It is time, you give us our Haq - Hammar Haq!

Note an Indian; only a Bihari
